Last summer Sunrise Video travelled to the Atacama Desert in Northern Chile for The Discovery Network to document the worlds largest telescope being built there. The project is called Paranal and it is the European Southern Observatory. Sunrise crew led by DP Joe LoMonaco spent three weeks in the desert. The show aired this year on Discovery and won a Gold medal in the New York Film Festival for a Science documentary. FORMAT: Digital Betacam
