Sunrise Video was recently contacted by Fox News to setup and shoot raps for their show War Stories. Hosted by former US Marine Coronel Oliver North, the show is told by men who fought the battles and then tied together by Coronel North with his on cameras, which are shot in front of actual military equipment on location for each particular show. Joe LoMonaco, D.P., was given the opportunity to assemble a crew consisting of lighting, jib, teleprompter and make-up. Said LoMonaco, “It was a real challenge to light up two WWII vintage aircraft at night.” The first shoot took place in Zephyr Hills, Florida with a B24 bomber and the second was at Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia. Both shoots utilized a long jib-arm to reveal the entire aircraft and Coronel North. War Stories airs Saturday evenings on the Fox Network .
